Why is Emotional Education important?

As children grow and are exposed to different situations, their emotional lives also became more complex. Therefore, it is necessary to incorporate emotional intelligence to everyday knowledge and the school curriculum because the emotional maturity of the child is the key to life (Punset, 2009). In this way, teachers must be conscious of the importance that emotional education has and they should make an effort to develop children emotionally (using different activities to work with emotions).
the emotional relationship or attachment bond between the children and teachers/ parents is very important. This relationship must produce tranquility, security and pleasure. If the attachment relationship is poor, the child will have emotional problems. Because of that, it will be important to explain this to parents in order to guarantee the emotional development of their child.
Another aspect to consider is that excessive permissiveness is not good because we often deliver the responsibility to take decisions to an immature child (causing frustration and blockages on him).
